Update!?

What you think I need to update? Ok, so I can hardly remember how to change my background...that may be a sign I haven't been on in a while.
I'm gonna have to start back in slowly. I have no pictures of late so I will just give a little update on the Corbin household and then try to ease my way back in to the blogging world.
We have been keeping busy with Sydney's volleyball. We have been to Prescott, Tuscon, Queen creek and our next stop should be somewhere out in Gilbert/Mesa or something. Lots of traveling but it has been so much fun to watch her and her team play! I don't do sports. Never have. I'm a cheerleader/dance type so it is fun to watch her go after the ball and not be afraid to dive and all that. The first tournament the ball hit her square in the nose - and they played off it! (side note: this is the same nose we think she broke at school last year playing baseball-a bloody, bruised, doubled in size mess!) She just kept on playing, unfazed. Only a little swelling this time! She has played great!! She has also loved riding her horse! We need to get out there more of course but we're working on it.
Kole has been loving his bike and always loves just being outside. The weather has been great so he is out there as soon as homework is done. He has also taken over as the neighborhood pigeon patrol. No pigeons nesting on any roofs around here. You can imagine how he does that. If you cant imagine how well.......I'll just say that Jim is the one he took over for so... On a good note, (I'm almost afraid to think it) he is bandage free!!
Rylee is as fun and funny as ever. HOW I wish I could share her last few good ones on here but I admit, I'm afraid of the "What kind of mother would let her five year old" comments. So I will only share the fact that I did watch Mamma Mia and she was in the room and she retains WAY more then I thought. (in an innocent way of course.) Hey on the good side she knows all the words to all the songs:)
Jessica is going to California with her Choir and excited! They get to sing at Disneyland! She is keeping busy with school, church, homework and, oh ya those friends. She see them every once in a while too. She is doing a cancer walk in April. It's a 24 hour walk-a-thon. It should be really awesome. They get pledges for each lap walked and they have a team. They have 24 hrs. to walk as many laps as they can. One team member must be walking at all times so, they can take turns. All the donations go to cancer research. Pretty cool!
Jim and I are keeping busy. It's been a weird winter, I think one of us...mostly me, has been sick every week since Thanksgiving. I hope were past that now!!We enjoyed a great Stake Conference yesterday. We got a new Presidency and Russle M. Nelson was here to call them and so we had the privilege of hearing from him. It was wonderful. It made me so excited for General Conference coming up!
Ok, that's it in a nut shell. I'm gonna try not to get so far behind - no promises!

Oh, come on! I've heard Rylee's comments and I think you should post them. Everyone should know what a crack up she is. And the one she made at lunch today should definately be posted. That was the highlight of my day!

Your cheerleader comment reminded me of the girls in hs who had bumper stickers that said
CHEERLEADERS ARE ATHLETES TOO

my response: if you need a bumper sticker to declare it...

Anyways, thank you for (in a round about way) admitting cheerleading isn't a sport.

YIKES, do you think I'll get hate mail? Good thing my blog is private.

ok. good night.

Nice to hear from you again. I agree that you should totally post Rylee's Mamma Mia mix up. That is one of the best stories I've heard. Sounds like the family's doing good. Hope we see you again SOON.
